Exceptional house to host a family gathering. The location of Lido Beach, St. Armand’s Circle, and downtown Sarasota is perfect. There is plenty of room to accommodate various families while maintaining privacy for couples and quiet spaces for small children. The house is very well-equipped, including two coffee pots and crockpots, a fully stocked kitchen to prepare and serve meals, as well as, an extra refrigerator, and a freezer for large parties. The decor, design, and various options for dining were perfect. The pool and beach accessories ( 7 beach chairs, a wagon, four bikes, beach towels, and coolers) were helpful. An elevator would have benefitted the elderly or frequent grocery loads, but it didn’t detract from the property. Numerous areas to enjoy outdoor living (decks, putting range, and fenced-in yard) The guest services response time was exceptional, including notifying us about check-in and responding to minor requests. The house went up for sale after we booked the property, so it would have been nice to be informed before our arrival. The contract does state that showings may happen during our stay, so there is written disclosure. The staff told us early on about the showing request, which was not inconvenient. Being from a family of realtors, we had no problem allowing it. Perhaps add some additional blankets, as the air conditioner certainly works fine. It was also very useful to have two laundry rooms.
We highly recommend staying at The Shore House for couples and families to be under one roof and make lasting memories. Thank you!
