When you’re planning a Florida vacation, you’re probably thinking about spending lots of time on the beach.
On Lido Key, you’ll be able to experience some of the most beautiful stretches of shoreline that the Sunshine State has to offer! But you don’t have to spend your time only swimming in the water or relaxing on the Lido Beach coastline. If you want to have a bit more adventure while you’re at the beach, participate in some of these Lido Key watersports!
Parasailing Lido Key
Parasailing in Lido Key is one of the best ways to get an incredible view of the area and satisfy that craving for adrenaline. Siesta Key Watersports is one of the top companies in the area for parasailing, so you know you’re in for a good time! Up to three people can go parasailing at once, so you can get a bird’s eye view of the area with your closest friends and family. You’ll get the thrill of being pulled up into the air, but once you’re up there, you might be surprised at how calm and quiet it is up in the sky!
If you’re feeling particularly adventurous, you can ask your captain for the “free fall” experience. The “free fall” is not for the faint of heart. After you’ve been suspended in the air enjoying the view for a while, you will be lowered down towards the water, almost grazing it before the captain hits the throttle and shoots you back up in the air! Standard flights cost $85 per person and allow you 12 minutes in the air.
