We had a great stay- well appointed and very clean home, very close to beach and St. Armens restaurants. We had an issue with wifi and the outlets in the main bedroom bathroom. LBK and the hosts were beyond responsive- immediately texting back and getting someone out to fix it quickly. We will definitely rent a home from them in the future.

The kitchen was equipped with equipment (crock pot, lol) but nothing needed to cook. Not even salt or oil!There were no plastic/kid dishes and no Tupperware so no ability to store food.Know that the mgmt providers 2 rolls of TP per bathroom, 2 laundry pods and 2 dishwasher pods, only for your entire stay. Which was annoying for trying to just relax and need to go buy basic kitchen items and TP. The WiFi did not work at all the entire trip. The mgmt provided a hot spot they had to “add data” to every day or two or else everything went dark. They also delivered the hot spot but left it to us to connect it to each of the four smart TVs. The house and location are amazing, it was a good set up for us layout, pool, proximity to beach wise but basic essentials (include 1-2 toys even- not even for the pool) were lacking for our family with younger kids. If you plan to eat out all your meals and have zero down time at home (no need for tv, games etc) 10/10 would recommend

While pantry items are not routinely supplied, we do provide basic cookware and are always happy to assist if something appears to be missing. During your stay, we were not made aware of any kitchen supply concerns, but our local team would have gladly helped if notified. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the WiFi interruption. Once identified, our team promptly delivered a hotspot to restore connectivity for the remainder of your stay. Thank you again for your feedback. Where do I start. The house was exactly as described. It was beautifully decorated, the kitchen was well stocked, and the pool/spa was perfect when you wanted to relax. The location was superb. The neighborhood was quiet but close to everything. The beach was a short walk away. The owner’s made sure we had plenty of beach towels, chairs, and a wagon to easily transport these items. We also enjoyed some early morning bike rides. The owner’s provided four bikes to explore the area. We spent a lovely afternoon at St. Armand’s Circle. It can best be described as an outdoor mall with unique and high end retail. The restaurant choices were plentiful. All in all, I wouldn’t think twice about staying at Stone’s Throw. If I could give this vacation home/getaway ten stars I would. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

The location is unbeatable—just a two-minute walk to stunning Lido Beach and about ten minutes on foot to vibrant St. Armands Circle, filled with great restaurants and shops.The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at A Stone’s Throw! We have a timeshare in Sarasota but it’s still closed from last year’s hurricanes, but we really wanted to come down this year because we missed it so much. I was searching for homes close to the gulf, with the peaceful atmosphere I like when traveling. This home hit all the marks! So much so, we’re already planning a few trips back for next year! The home was beautiful, within walking distance to the gulf and driving distance to all of our favorite restaurants. It was a very relaxing week and I can’t recommend this house enough.

We have been coming to Lido Key every July for over 10 years, staying at the same time share. Unfortunately, we learned 10 days before our scheduled vacation that they were extending their closure (damage from Milton) another month. We were so lucky to find Stone’s Throw available at such a reasonable weekly rate! The home was just as pictured and the pool was even better! We are beach people but still enjoyed hours in the pool! A wagon, beach chairs, and a cooler made the short walk to the beach so much easier than anticipated! It’s just a short 5 minute walk to the public beach! I can’t recommend this home enough if you are looking for location, an amazing, serene pool, and amenities! The property management company was extremely responsive to any of my messages, too, and took care of anything we needed.

We had the absolute best time at this gem of a beach house while visiting St. Armand’s. Anything that you could possibly want to do in the area was right at your fingertips and a short stroll away! The pool, spa and ping-pong table were so nice to come back to after the beach or dinner out on the circle! It was great for our small family of four spring break trip! Highly recommend!

The home was wonderful for our group. Master suite was lovely. Other bedrooms were great for the adult children and grandchild. Construction noise next door was a little loud at times but not in control of home owners. I understand the door alarm is required, but that was annoying after the granddaughter was in bed. Very loud. In a previous stay in Florida, the alarm was a chime and did not escalate as the door remained open. But perhaps city ordinance requires a loud annoying alarm. Location was fabulous. Close to beach and St. Armand's Circle. The wagon, beach chairs, beach towels, and sand toys were essential for the beach visits. Fabulous stay. Thank you.

The house was excellent in almost all respects. It was clean, comfortable, well decorated, well equipped and very well located. Our only issue was that the dishwasher didn't get the dishes as clean as we would have liked.

very nice and cozy house. In reality, everything is as in the photo in the ad. Near the ocean. it was convenient to go with children, and there were 6 of them from 12 years to 9 months. The only thing that needs to be worked on is that the bed in the master bedroom does not creak, and the dryer only works on one program. Everything else is great!

You can’t find a better location than this! The decor is very cute and the the pool/hot tub are beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. My only complaint is that there isn’t a comfortable outdoor space. On a pretty day, I would find myself often reading on the living room couch rather than poolside where I’d rather be if not for the hard lounge chairs.

We loved staying at this home right on Lido Key. Convenient to multiple beaches, shopping and dining. The house was very clean and basically brand new. Backyard was great for our dogs.

We rented this house for 6 days recently for two families and had a great time there. The house is located in the nice and quiet neighborhood, 6-8 minutes walk to the Lido beach. There is a shopping / dinning area nearby as well. The house is located approximately 10 minutes of driving from center city Sarasota, fairly convenient drive everywhere. Overall, the house was clean and accommodating. There is a nice backyard area, in the shades. Kitchen has all cooking equipment and tools if you want to do some cooking yourself. There is a smart TV in every room, AC works great, you can also wash and dry your clothes. There is a garage with all the beach things you’ll need. There is a pool table and 4 bicycles for your convenience as well. Highly recommend this house if you are looking for a nice and quiet and convenient vacation in Sarasota area. Thank you.

We had a fabulous time - the house is phenomenal and I wish we could have stayed longer!
The house is beautiful and well thought out. Owner's bedroom with en suite bathroom and huge walk-in closet is lovely -- the king size bed is very comfortable, we slept well! The other two rooms are set up nicely with their own shared batch, and again, very comfortable beds and linens.
There is a breakfast table in the kitchen and bar top seating, as well as a table on the screened-in porch.
The living room has plenty of comfy seats for everyone to enjoy a movie and wind down after a full day at the beach.
You won't need to pack a lot of clothes with a full size washer and dryer at your fingertips.
We LOVED having the bikes and the beach cart and chairs... they were fabulous! The extra fridge in the garage came in very handy! We didn't discover the garage door openers until it was too late...but you can open and close the garage door with a keypad.
This is temporary, but the construction across the street was somewhat noisy... I would say that will be done within the next 2 months.
The kitchen had everything we needed... more than enough cutlery, plates, bowls, serving ware, etc. There was even a full-sized roasting pan.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to have a vacation in Lido Key! We loved its location - we were able to walk our kayaks to Ted Sperling park, and we could walk into St. Armands. Beach is literally 3 minute walk... the public beach can be crowded on the weekend but during the week was so nice!!
The host was attentive and responsive to me when we were there. We were so impressed with everything... I will not hesitate to rent this home again.

This home was very special. The property manager/Host , Trevor,was super nice, and very helpful. Even before our arrival he was helping us make decisions on where to get groceries and renting a golf cart via text and phone calls. We also used his expertise a few times during our trip as well. He grew up locally so he had a lot of knowledge on the area. He met us at our property on arrival and showed us around the house and how to use the thermostat, garage, gave us codes for the bike locks etc. The "extras" were great and there were many. The home came with two beach cruisers, a nice beach wagon, 4 comfy beach chairs, ample beach towels ( I think 12), a beach cooler/icechest an extra full sized fridge for beverages in the garage and a deep freezer to store our extra bags of ice for the beach. Linen service was included and was of good quality. The location could not have been better. The proximity to the beach was a brief walk after filling the wagon with our cooler and beach items conveniently in the garage. The shops in St Armand's circle were close enough to walk but we chose to drive because the shopping was amazing and we needed to store our treasures in our rental car. I could see strolling home after a dinner at one of the many wonderful restaurants. We had two favorite restaurants: Le Collone and Shore, but all were good. There was everything from a New York style deli and pizza shops to fine dining. The home itself had a very comfortable living space. Very clean, seemed new or freshly remodeled. The bedrooms were all nicely furnished and all 4 beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were very nice and the master bath was large and open with a spa-like vibe. There was enough room in there to share space with my two teen daughters as we helped each other get ready for our fun evenings out. My husband and I really appreciated the screened in porch to keep the bugs away while we sipped on our evening beverages and that tree in the back yard was visible form the main living areas at all times, so that lent a peaceful atmosphere to the home. Overall, I recommend this home. It lacked nothing and was everything that my family had hoped for. I will definitely look for and rent from Lido Key Vacation Rental again when we go back to the area and ask for Trevor.
