How Do I Get There?
Lido Key and the city of Sarasota are connected by John Ringling Causeway, named for one-half of the duo famous for Ringling Brothers Circus (John was a Sarasota resident!).
This 3,100-foot bridge provides gorgeous views of the Sarasota Bay as you head back and forth between Sarasota and Lido Key. You can follow the main Ringling causeway for the most straightforward directions to Lido Key.

St. Armand’s Circle is the perfect place for window shopping or to splurge on a souvenir to take home.

History of Lido Key
If you’d like some history during your visit, you won’t be disappointed. St. Armand’s is home to the Circus Ring of Fame, honoring history’s most notable circus performers and contributors. Have your picture taken with plaques honoring visionaries John Ringling and P.T. Barnum or world-renowned animal trainer Gunther Gebel-Williams.
St. Armand’s also hosts a beautiful historic statue walk, filled with sculptures mimicking typical Greek and Roman art. Twenty-one new statues have been added to the originals, so statues here range anywhere from 10 to 100 years old!
