Lido Key Vacations is dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of all of our guests during this tumultuous time. We have outlined all the steps we’re taking to enhance our existing housekeeping policies with extensive COVID cleaning procedures. It is our goal that all guests enjoy a healthy and fun vacation!

Professional Housekeeping Services

We are committed to the use of CDC-approved cleaning products and practices to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Our cleaning processes are compliant with DBPR sanitation guidelines and include the disinfection of all high contact points, including all hard and soft surfaces throughout your rental. We also use EPA compliant cleaning products to remain environmentally conscious in our efforts.

Professional Linen Program

Our Professional Linen Program ensures each of our properties is equipped with all the linens you’ll need for your stay. You will be provided with clean towels (for the kitchen, bathroom, and the beach), mattress protectors on every bed, and pillow protectors on all sleeping pillows. All linens are cleaned off-site in an independent laundry facility that utilizes an OZONE System, which provides 100% sanitization.

Cleaning Report Required for All Cleans

Every property is meticulously cleaned before your arrival and must meet the requirements of our rigid 107-point cleaning checklist. All housekeeping team members are thoroughly trained on our procedures that go above and beyond CDC guidelines and must provide an accurate cleaning report for each property they prepare.

3-Level Inspection Process for All Cleans

In addition to our comprehensive checklist, all properties undergo a 3-level inspection process before your arrival. This inspection double-checks our housekeeping staff’s efforts to ensure every inch of your rental has been appropriately attended to. If anything in your property does not meet our standards, this inspection gives us the chance to address the issue before you arrive.

Continuing Education and Training

Our staff is dedicated to remaining up to date with the CDC’s latest guidelines in terms of COVID safety, and we adjust our efforts to continuously go above and beyond the recommended procedures.

Bins Be Clean

Every one of our homes is serviced by Bins Be Clean, a mobile service that disinfects and sanitizes outdoor trash cans and recycling bins on the property. All water, cleaners, and waste are contained throughout the cleaning process to ensure there is no cross-contamination. This service is performed once monthly at every property.

Housekeeping Add-On Services Available

In addition to our already rigorous housekeeping policies, guests have access to a variety of housekeeping add-on services. These services may come at an additional cost. Contact your Property Manager to learn more about the extra housekeeping services that may be available to you.

Eco-Safe Cleaning Add-On

Eco-Safe is a comprehensive electro-static spray that uses EPA registered disinfectants that kill bacteria and viruses including COVID-19. For an additional cost, you can have total peace of mind knowing that everything in the home has been disinfected twice. Once with our rigorous cleaning procedures, and, finally, with this decontaminate made from vaporized hydrogen peroxide guaranteed to kill all pathogens. Learn more.

Adding Service to New Reservations

You may add this additional cleaning service for an added fee during the check-out process online while completing your reservation OR you can call our office at 941.212.0396.

Adding Service to Existing Reservations

Guests who have an upcoming stay already scheduled may add this additional cleaning service for an added fee. We require at least 24 hours of notice to add this service to existing reservations to facilitate scheduling. Simply call our office OR contact your property manager via the contact information they provided to you on your email confirmation or pre-arrival instructions to add the Eco-Safe clean to your reservation.

Mid-Stay Cleans Available

If you’re staying with us for an extended period of time, we offer optional mid-stay cleans to make sure your family is safe and healthy for the entirety of your visit. Mid-stay cleans may come at an additional cost.
